Instructions For Teachers

I am so pleased you have visited the Guess The Wordle Wiki.  I hope you and your students enjoy it.

Some things to remember:

1.  Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday Wordles are usually a bit more difficult.  Students and teachers are encouraged to work on these as a GROUP rather than an individual effort.  I recommend that with your students you look to find words which you already know, or things that stand out as possibly clues.  Write these down. Those are the words you might search using google, bing, yahoo -- or whatever search engine you use.  

2.   Work as a GROUP to sift through the clues and help each other put all the parts together to find the answer.

3.  Please scroll to the bottom of the page if your response was correct.  If yes, CONGRATULATIONS!!  If no, reason as a class on what you might have missed.

As a teacher -- if you are just using Guess The Wordle as a time filler -- and not following up at all to see if your students are LEARNING and not just filling time -- I ask that you reconsider using this site.   If you students are answering incorrectly -- that is not learning.  Also, please use Guess The Wordle as a spring board with your class to other conversations too.
